Dee, Ruth

I saw Dee and her dachshund Itchy B Barking on a crowded Tube one evening. Embarrassingly, I had to lean across another passenger to pass Dee my special recruitment leaflet, so I was delighted when she agreed to take part.

Some weeks later I met Ruth at a friend’s party and realised she would make a perfect travelling companion for Dee. But you have to ask yourself, where are these two beautiful, stylish women off to, whizzing through Willesden Green? It would be nice to think that tea and cucumber sandwiches might make an appearance later that afternoon.
